Introducing Our 2025 Scholarship Recipients
Emmanuella Ejidoh
North Clayton High School
Emmanuella Ejidoh is a graduate of North Clayton High School with a deep interest in biology and its role in everyday life. Motivated by the health challenges she has observed in her community, she plans to pursue biomedical engineering to explore how innovation and compassion can come together to improve healthcare systems. Emmanuella looks forward to deepening her understanding of science and technology as she pursues her degree.
Winner Osakwe
Riverdale High School
Winner Osakwe is a recent graduate of Riverdale High School and an active member of her church's youth program. She is passionate about addressing chronic illnesses in underserved communities and is especially interested in how access, education, and innovation can shape better health outcomes. Winner hopes to explore these issues further as she continues her academic journey in public health.
Daniella Taiwo
Lovejoy High School
Daniella Taiwo is a recent graduate of Lovejoy High School who plans to pursue a career in anesthesiology. She has led health-focused outreach campaigns at her school, organized blood drives, and served as President of the 21st Century Leaders Club and Vice President of the Association Promoting African Culture. Daniella is deeply committed to raising awareness around health issues that affect underserved populations and looks forward to continuing this work as she studies biology and prepares for a future in medicine.
Malana Whitaker
Charles R. Drew High School
Malana Whitaker is a recent graduate from Charles R. Drew High School and a dual enrollment student at Atlanta Technical College. She served as yearbook editor, was actively involves in the Student Government Association, and engaged in various school activities while balancing college-level coursework. Malana is passionate about helping others and plans to pursue a career in cardiothoracic surgery. She looks forward to continuing her studies and making a meaningful impact in the medical field.
